Legends

Wew here we are, Legend page.

On rank 30, you will surely get a Legend. Then at the moment you get that Legend, you will try to ask others if a Legend is good or not. Some will say good, others will not. If you only hear on one group opinion, maybe you will get close-minded.

"It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If we take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale. Understanding others, the other elements, and the other nations will help you become whole." - Iroh

So that's why on this page I will tell you complete description about every Legend, their strength, weakness, and how to use them so they can give you maximum efficiency and effect.

1. Shu

Yup, as we can see on the forum/chat, many people say Shu is junk and useless so if you get him, you should reroll. Well, I'm not with that opinion, in fact, I would say that Shu is a good player. This is the list:
Strength:
- Pretty tanky when penetrate (Fantasy Star) and has recovery that few other penetrator has (Superiority)
- Heals your Spirit (Superiority)
- One of the best utility skill to have (Expand Strategy)
- Good Ace for Mono Ardor team

Weakness:
- Pretty squishy when not doing anything else
- Prone to damage due to low HP and Recovery Power
- Only reliant on his skill to survive

With this in mind, most players are blind with the strength and focus on the first 2 lines of the weakness I state above.

Tips:
  • It is more recommended to put Shu on back rather on mid. Due to his Expand Strategy, he can heals every line (with a minimum of mid and back) 25% action bar and 10% HP which is pretty handy in some tough fights.
  • With Shu in back (and not facing Striker ofc) he will get less damage since the shooter will... shoot. So with that in mind, it is wise to put some tanky GK (with lots of HP, dec dmg, etc.) and pass the ball to Shu to make him heal
  • Shu can do pretty well to penetrate as many as he can (Due to all of his skill set) which will make you think to use him as a hidden cannon.
  • Never put Shu in Mid. Ever!!! He is squishy when he does nothing so do not ever try to put him prone to stealers. The less damage you get, the better.

2. William

Again, this Sasuke counterpart is mocked a lot by players in forum/chat because of many reasons provided (which honestly some of them are nonsense). Again, William is a very viable striker, especially with the current Ardor top decks.

Strength:
- Has one of the best critical damage amount without any boost (With All Might)
- Has both of the role utility and OHKO (with Passion and With All Might)
- Has great attack and survivability as a Striker (God of Fire)

Weakness:
- Lack of Critical Rate
- Lack of Penetration Power
- Need Super Power-up to become really effective

2nd to last, William is said to be one of the weakest because he really cannot do anything without super power-up. However, with the right setup (Like Nari as a passer etc.) his damage output is one of the best in game.

Tips:
  • It is a must to give William more critical rate! Otherwise, his 2nd skill is just a waste.
  • It is wiser decision to put him become OHKO Striker than to be Utility Striker since his critical damage is very worth it to try one shot.
  • Again, like every other Strikers, it is better to put him on sides rather than mid to deal more damage and receive less damage from stealers.
  • Penetration power is important for William, but again he needs critical rate the most.

3. Jin

As the only Legendary GK, this Grandpa surely takes the role of the best GK in Soccer Spirits. However, as an old man, Jin also has some weakness that should be noted, too! However, indeed Jin is a great GK despite his age. :)

Strength:
- Tons of HP (Cry of Wilderness)
- High critical resistance (Overwhelming and Serenity)
- Nice decrease damage (Serenity)

Weakness:
- Lack of heal make this GK actually prone to Utility since this GK can be crippled quite easily.
- Sharr and William burns this grandpa to ashes.
- Relied more to his HP rather than decrease damage and crit resistance.

Not so many weakness (except his old age (?)), Jin is a good GK. However, some players just don't like old (pervert, and lolicon to be exact) people to join into the field, so this poor gramps is benched.

Tips:
- Give him some healers on action (Coexistense, Expand Strategy, etc.) so he can maintain his tankiness.
- He has good decrease damage and critical resistance, however it is much better to give him more of these two things in case of some people using all kinds of active and you don't have enough spirit to block.
- If you use this GK you must have Magnus at all cost! Else his main nemesis Sharr and William can 'Kamehameha' him and boom he become ashes. Magnus also has nice reflex to topple with Overwhelming, helping to stop the shoot before the ball even goes to the goal post.

4. Khriel

I don't know why but, somehow Whirlwind has some of the Top class players. Including this penetrator, Khirel. Majority says that he's a beast on field, but somehow he has hidden weakness that most people don't see it as a serious thing.

Strength:
- Thumbs up on the attack (Song of Knife and Cry of Glory explain them)
- Give everyone attack booster (Cry of Glory)
- Very good Rainbow Ace
- Critical hit almost secured (Fatal Blow)

Weakness:
- Totally squishy
- Low reflex and no counterattack resistance make this monster easy to be trolled

This player is indeed a monster with his brutal attack. And he has speed to launch the attack fast (Thousand Knives on the pic explains them huh?). However, it is not a very pleasant experience to have this Khirel countered with another penetrator with better reflex (Like Mikael for example) and then killed him and turn the opportunity around, right?

Tips:
- Give him some decrease damage and HP buff, so he can actually has some defensive side beside his brutal offensive side.
- More speed --> More power. That is Khirel's rule so you better follow the rule. Neraizel's 3rd skill can help him with that.
- More critical damage is nice so he can hit harder
- Give him counterattack resistance! (And not reflex, bro!) Since his base reflex is too small, boosting them will not make Khirel invulnerable against someone with 2k reflex. Counterattack resistance is better for a penetrator so he can actually not worrying about being countered while launching his knives.

5. MX27 Leventor

Known as the God of Penetration, penetration power nerf caused this poor android leader being mocked as garbage from many players. Actually, even with the nerf, he is still viable as one of the best Striker, but right now he just need more investment.

Strength:
- Good attack and critical rate (Summoning Hades)
- Has some potential as back due to Overwhelming
- God of penetration (Cold Heart will tell you why)

Weakness:
- Too reliant on penetration to make damage
- Lack of critical damage (only provided by active)
- Lack of speed
- Need Super Power-up to become really effective

Leventor is a great striker, but the nerf has caused him to be mocked and called names by players. Crapventor (That's what he is called now) is not so crappy, he is one of the Strikers that high class GK fears.

Tips:
- Give him speed so he can actually do stuff. Without that, he can't actually do anything.
- Give him critical damage buff if you plan to do him as your main striker.
- Invest on him! Because you will need 3 main skills to level to max: Active, 2nd skill, and last skill.
- Optional: Put him in the back is one of the good ideas for Leventor. Max his last skill and see your Leventor pass all of the lines and OHKO the GK. Pretty nice, eh?

6. Bell

Being said as one of the best players in the Legendary, the Leader AI gives this queen a heavy disadvantage. Other than that, her skills makes her viable for everything, be it Penetrator or Stealer, sometimes she can be a Striker too!

Strength:
- Has one of the best totem skill (Controlling Power)
- Tanky (Unavoidable Destiny and Super Play)
- Versatile, can switch easily from Defender to Penetrator

Weakness:
- Unavoidable Destiny will only have full effect if Super Play procs
- Low HP makes her reliant on Decrease Damage
- Leader AI downgrade this players potential a lot

Again, even with those weakness Bell is considered to be one of the best players in the game throughout her last skill that make her very versatile.

Tips:
- Put the Bell far from damage. Which means Back is the best position for her (Her pos buff explains it well)
- Try to make her have another turn before 1 min in game goes out so Bell can fully utilize her last skill well without relying too much on Super Play. So it is recommended to have some action bar healer like Sammy etc.
- Give her speed OMG! What every thunder team needs is speed, Bell is no exception. You don't want her to just become a bad passer when she can actually humiliate someone, don't you? That's why make her attack someone before someone attack her.

7. Duke

Another Legendary. And it's Light. It is Duke, one of the best Light penetrator. Yet somehow, people hate him due to his squishiness and what not. However, his skill can make him pass through even the hardest ball holder.

Strength:
- High Penetration (Infinite Area)
- Tanky when penetrates (Infinite Area)
- Not a bad totem (Loki's Trick)
- Good critical (Loki's Trick and Forgotten Power)

Weakness:
- Slow
- Low Reflex (Even with Loki's Trick)
- Squishy when not doing anything else.

Well, actually he is one of the ball holder's nightmare. His last skill destroy them quite easily. However, the slowness and his lack of reflex makes him kinda bad due to people who can troll him with 1 HP.

Tips:
- Give him speed! Do not let him fall before he shows his skills off just because he is too slow.
- Give him more Counterattack resist or reflex though. Even that he is low in reflex but his case is not as bad as Khriel.
- Put him in Center Mid is best so that his Active can work on many people.

8. Valkrja Beth

Nominated as one of the best Legend, players sure have some good reasons to back up for their opinion. However, again her AI obstructs her from showing her full potential although that her skill, which what makes her leader, is not a bad skill.

Strength:
- Tons of utility usefulness.
- Give reflex and critical buff to team in line (Goddess of Battle)
- Give action bar recovery and attack booster (Charge!)
- Nice ball holder (Strong Faith)
- Nice Attack (Charge! and Strong Faith)

Weakness:
- 2nd and 3rd skill only proc when she penetrates
- Leader AI prevent her proc her skill most of the time
- Her active is a heal without the HP heal

Yes, as you can see, she has lots of reasons of being powerful and become best in game. However, her active is not very good (especially with the cooldown). Overall, she is a nice player to have as steroid in your team.

Tips:
- Put her in the back so that she can buff every line and team every time she penetrate since her second and third skill proc on every penetration attempt.
- Stay her away from damage! That means do not directly oppose her to enemy's Striker or else she will again be a bad passer.
- It is wise to give her more speed and reflex so she can maximize her skills without being disturbed.
- Try to invest in her. Her useful skill are so many that you want them all.

9. Baltheon
Best front-line passer of the whole game, only the fool will say that this dude is useless. He indeed show very graceful performance on the field. However, it is a shame that he is destined as a passer.

Strength:
- Global ace buff (25% critical rate)
- All of his skills are dedicated to pass
- His stats are terribly good in every aspect.

Weakness:
- His 2nd effect of active pass only can be maintained if the Striker has high Critical Rate
- Wasted Power buff from all his passives due to his AI being passer so he pass all the time.
- Pretty slow for a passer's standard

Well, as you can see he has everything in stats. Power, Technique, and Vitality. However, the Power stat, despite support from 2nd to 4th skill, will not lead him to anywhere since he is a passer and Technique is what most important for him (Vitality is 2nd, Speed is 3rd)

Tips:
- Give him speed! Since he should be speedier than the Striker (and pretty much opponent's backs and GK) and his base speed doesn't support that.
- Else of that, just boost his pass effect into a new level with Yuri/Kiki and you are good.

10. Metatron

Another good player on slot here. Metatron is one of the best and most wanted players due to many things. However, again she has some weakness that many people don't see it but is very crucial.

Strength:
- Has best buff upon Evo (Has both Devil's Whisper and Angel's Light upgraded while others only have 1 skill upgraded)
- Debuff that is useful anywhere she is (Mercy and Insanity)
- Destroy opponent team action bar easily (With her active + Devil's Whisper Combo)
- Heals the whole team when attacked (Angel's Light)

Weakness:
- Low base stats
- Reliant on debuff to be effective
- Squishy due to low stat and her active needs her to be tanky

So, yes with those heavy debuff Metatron is one of the most wanted cards. However, her lack of stats makes her none other than totem in there.

Tips:
- Give her HP boost! For you to get maximum effect from her active and last skill she needs to tank the damage. She can cover everything else with her debuff except HP so any HP booster is recommended
- Speed is nice steroid for her. Since by giving her speed her Devil's Whisper can proc often and with Angel's Light, most of the time your ball goes back to Mid, your team will be armed and ready.
- Pair her up against the Striker to proc Angel's Light whenever possible. I know that her HP is small and her steal is crappy. Again, I will tell you this, she is OP as a totem that is why just ask her to block every Striker attempt (If you are sure that your Metatron will not survive) and be a nice totem there while you focus on the rest of the backline.

11. Choi

New Legend from Season 2. Interesting Lore, but not a hot topic among the players. He is versatile. Very versatile, but those versatility become a double-edged sword to him.

Strength:
- Versatile
- Has nice attack to become a penetrator (Lust and Conqueror)
- Has nice pass system (Conqueror and Strategy Building)
- Suits Leader AI very well

Weakness:
- Too versatile so no really strong point
- 2nd skill being wasted when he doesn't penetrate anymore
- Needs investment to make him become real versatile.

As you can see, he is very versatile and he is one of those proper leaders in SS. He is indeed child of prophecy, but somehow his versatility makes him not really strong on one point.

Tips:
- Invest on him! And surely he will interest you in his good performance.
- Speed is pretty important on him, so he can decide whether to bring the ball or let the others bring the ball.
- You will need another penetrator on the same line to cover Choi so when he screw up your team will not be a total mess.

12. Serestia

Selena, the one that is always helping us on the loading screen is reborn as Serestia and joins the field! Maybe you will be confused why, but some people posted why in the character forum and it all makes sense. Anyway, Serestia is a dangerous player to encounter but has some crucial weakness that prevent her from being OP.

Strength:
- All debuff skill makes her a very tough opponent
- She stops everyone just by blocking (Expel)
- She reduce your offensive powerhouse (Dark Eden)
- As well as your defensive powerhouse (March of Death)

Weakness:
- All skill will proc only when she do something
- And her low speed prevents her from doing anything

So as we can look here, she is a monster when she acts. As one of the best Gatekeepers, it sure is terrifying when she becomes your opponent, yet become very valuable if become ally with some booster on your team.

Tips:
- Give her speed OMG! She only needs that most important thing to literally turn everyone into stone and froze.
- You should let her in the Centre (Front/Mid/Back) so she can stops anyone from moving.
- If you are going to use her, better you have some powerhouse to deal damage, else all her effort will be wasted easily and enemy trampled over her.

13. Vonchi

Last but not least, Vonchi! At a glance, he looks like the Light version of Shu, which is... A Legendary Douchebag!!! But this Legend is different, he is the real definition of Speed and should be a descendant from Hermes! But again, you can't have too many good things, can you?

Strength:
- Has very high speed as a striker (Ultra Rapid)
- Get some nice attack and critical rate (Clutch Moment)
- Has nice penetration (Excellent Skills)
- Has Reflex to comply (Excellent Skills)

Weakness:
- Solely dependent on speed to be effective.
- Bad Ace effect
- A secret disability that we haven't discovered yet.

So, all we can say is Vonchi is someone that is very speedy and really utilize on the speed to be effective. However, if his speed get decreased too much he might be a douchebag and become a liability to your team.

Tips:
- Speed! Speed! Give him more speed! (And not things like Quick Start!) His skill set will be very effective when he has amazing speed. He will become an utility OHKO striker when you give him tons of speed.
- Give him a speedy passer like Silla, he doesn't need much critical rate/ damage anymore. He only needs power beside speed.
- Some reflex boost is nice for him due to his 2nd skill, he is one of the utility strikers who has reflex to comply with his skill.
- Invest on him. He has a lot of good skill to miss if you don't spu him.

Well that is all on this section. Have fun with your legend! And take care them since you will not know when they will repay for your hard work. But when the time comes, you will surely feel joyful and relieved.

"I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are" - Mewtwo, Pokemon

So, if you get Legends that everyone mocks about, do not be sad and piss yourself! Raise them and they will let you know why they are called Legendary Players. :)
